Stonewall County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. It's county seat is Aspermont. The county was created in 1891 and originated from Bexar County and Young County. The name of the county comes from Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson (1824-1863), the famous Confederate General.
